Briggett Harris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and Certified Professional School Counselor based in Florida, with over a decade of experience supporting teens, young adults, and families through life’s most overwhelming moments. As the founder of Approaching Change, Briggett brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and school-based knowledge to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and academic stress with clarity and confidence.
Known for her warm, client-centered approach, Briggett specializes in working with emotionally overwhelmed individuals who often look “fine” on the outside, but feel exhausted, anxious, or lost on the inside. Whether she’s supporting a teen struggling with school transitions, a young adult navigating identity and independence, or a parent trying to manage their own emotional challenges, Briggett creates a safe space for healing, growth, and skill-building.
Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices and a deep belief that therapy should equip clients not just to understand their emotions, but to regulate them, communicate effectively, and thrive.
